Printmaker and artist living in South London
Chris Moody was born and raised in South London. Drawing and painting was his first love at school which he kept up throughout his career as an Anglican priest. He has exhibited in the Leicester City Open, Greenwich Open Studios, the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair and The Fishslab Gallery, Whitstable. His work has been used to illustrate two books by the Russian poet, Anatoly Movshevich. Architecture and landscape, fleeting moments of vision and the passage of time, are the underlying themes in most of his work. In the last twelve years he has developed a love of etching, mono printing and linocuts, based in the Thames-Side Print Studio. In August 2022, Chris was accepted as a member of the Greenwich printmakers co-operative.
